Acailawen Designs Website Goes ‘Green’

Thu, 30th July, 2009 - Posted by Andrea Acailawen

I was recently contacted by a ‘green’ art gallery interested in my work. When the gallery manager asked me if any of my jewelry was eco-friendly, I was more than a little surprised. As a jewelry designer that is very conscious of being environmentally responsible and lives a green lifestyle, I have always been dedicated to eco-friendly design practices. What I hadn’t realized was that this wasn’t a prominent part of my marketing or the site. It quickly became apparent that a change was in order.

The Acailawen Designs website and logo have gone ‘green’ to emphasize our dedication as a company, and my commitment as a designer, to producing environmentally responsible, green couture jewelry and accessories. The website has a new look and feel that embodies the eco-friendly practices that are a major part of every couture design. I have also added more information about our commitment to green design throughout the website and expanded The Buzz section. I’ll be adding new articles on green design and being an environmentally friendly artisan in upcoming articles here in The Buzz. Stay tuned for other new features as well!

We hope you enjoy the site’s new look. I think Acailawen Designs looks great in green. Don’t you agree?!
